Life in Pink
Life in Pink is my new collection from the Evoke series. Painted with thick impasto colour, the collection celebrates the wellbeing benefits of viewing Life in Pink, or through rose-tinted glasses, which studies show increase feelings of optimism and can even add years to our lives!
Although pink has long been recognised as a soothing, happy colour, we are seeing a resurgence of both vibrant colours and strong pastel tones in interiors, furniture, and soft furnishings – this movement has been referred to as Dopamine Décor. The opposite of the neutral, minimal interiors of recent times, Dopamine Décor reconnects us with bright, feel-good colours that have a positive impact on mood. My Life in Pink collection draws on this palette, incorporating florals that dance across the canvas - evoking joy!
